Theoben had to offer?
Just take a look at this incredible piece of innovative design and
precise engineering. We just like to call it … the E-type.
Out goes our 15-year trademark buddy bottle look, and in comes a
sleek new detachable 120cc reservoir. This has allowed us to achieve
a much sleeker look and a substantial weight reduction. The process
included moving the reservoir closer to the barrel, giving better
balance and now weighing in at a little under 7lbs.
The next major transformation are “RAILS”. Yes that’s right,
rails! 115mm at the rear and 40mm in front of the magazine housing,
giving you the user as much choice as possible where you fix your
mounts, the rail accepts most 11mm dovetail mounts. A good quality
two-piece mount is recommended - medium or high mount if you choose
to upgrade to the shrouded silencer option or if you will be fitting
a larger scope.
The Walnut stock extends forward but leaves enough space for easy
removal of the bottle. The pistol grip and forend feature laser cut
chequering. The reasonably priced base model has practical Walnut
ambidextrous stock – suitable for the left or right-handed
shooter, but there is the option of a dedicated left hand or right
hand Walnut stock.
The cocking is super slick, it has a set of race ball-bearings for
centrally guiding as the bolt is pulled to its rear cocked position.
A phosphor bronze bearing guides the bolt itself, in all, an ultra
smooth action! If that wasn’t enough, the bolt handle is fully
reversible - equal opportunities for both left or right-handed
shooters!
Fitted with the ‘Series Four’ trigger, the same unit sold with
our more expensive pre-charged rifles, a two-stage adjustable, match
quality trigger, with a manual safety catch.
Supplied with a single shot holder that will load from the left or
right, or any degree in between. Also accepts any of our 7,12 or 17
shot magazines (dependant on calibre). So versatile that single and
multi-shot is achieved from the single one gun!
If you like the look of a bull-barrel, not a problem, Theoben’s
shrouded silencer will slide straight on at a later date, however
have it fitted from new and gain the best results from this
full-length, fully baffled and chambered silencer.
The E-Type comes with a standard 120cc slim bottle. However, there
are three options; the standard bottle, a bottle with pressure gauge
or one with a quick fill coupling. The quick fill will give you the
ability of charging the rifle without removing the bottle. It will
also give you slightly more shots per charge. 65 unregulated shots
or 110 regulated shots (in tests .22 cal).
With choice of calibre, stock, bottle, bolt, regulator, mounts,
single or multi shot, barrel finisher or silencer, you can make the
rifle suit your requirements – making the E-Type the ultimate
pre-charged of its kind!
